Links (chosen by Peter D. Wilson)

GADS

Gosforth Amateur Dramatic Society (Cumbria, UK, not Northumberland)

AMDRAM

The Amateur Theatre Network - a mine of information on the subject.

Playwrights on the Web

An international database of playwrights & their websites offering production & publishing opportunities

Moonstruck Drama Bookstore

Apparently a specialised route into Amazon.com. Can be slow to load, with a lot of clutter on the home page, but lists authors clearly and gives interesting biographical information.
For purchasers outside North America, the local manifestation of Amazon would presumably be more appropriate if it has the item.

Amateur Theatre Directory

A portal to a wide range of theatrical service sites, conveniently categorised.

Doollee

A database of playwrights and plays in English, published or produced since 1956.

All Sites Directory  [Editor note: this site no longer exists; the link leads to the archived version]

A general directory with many categories including performing arts.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre

An excellent theatre in a magnificent location, with a year-round programme including a rotating repertory of up to six varied plays and other events from May to mid-October.

Malone [Editor note - the site no longer exists, but material will be added to this site]

William Malone's autograph account of the Battle of Mons in World War 1, with a more legible transcript.

St. Joseph's, Seascale

Parish web site [Note this is the functional new version, not the site which Peter Wilson created and maintained]
